i really like all of your pictures. they definately work together as a set but at the same time remain individual from eachother. the one thing that i would say that you could do would be add captions hinting at what emotions exactly you were going for, so that it would be more clear.
I think this set of images is very well done. The lighting definetely makes it clear that the image is representing an emotion. I agree with alastair with the captions. It would give us a better idea on what the exact emotion is.
I agree with the others. Very (very!)strong images from a creative photo shoot- but unclear as to the state of being/personality experience. This is partly due to both sets using past/recent images rather than starting from a concept and going out to solve it visually. A title for each set may be a way to back into the images and assign a subtext for the viewer. For draft #2, start with the concept, and then go on a treasure hunt to make images that express it visually- and specifically.
